I ask you to vote against the Preventing Election Subversion Act of 2023. I am particularly concerned about Section 303A. This section would prohibit individuals from challenging a voter's eligibility near the election date without personal knowledge and documentation of grounds for ineligibility, creating the possibility for non-citizens to register to vote and vote in elections. We must ensure that only eligible U.S. citizens can exercise their right to vote in U.S. elections.
