Release the Epstein Files. Enforce the Law. Deliver Justice Now.
To: Rep. Carter, Sen. Cornyn, Sen. Cruz
From: A constituent in Leander, TX
March 14
The American people are still waiting for the truth about Jeffrey Epstein. In November 2025, Congress passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act by overwhelming bipartisan margins — a voice vote in the Senate and 427–1 in the House — and it was signed into law on November 19, 2025. That law required the Department of Justice to release all unclassified records related to the federal investigation of Jeffrey Epstein and his associates in a searchable, publicly accessible format. That has not happened. What has been released so far is incomplete, heavily redacted, fragmented, and missing substantial material. Entire interview summaries and investigative records that should have been disclosed under the law remain withheld. Reports indicate that the DOJ is still reviewing millions of pages and delaying the release of records involving serious allegations. This is unacceptable. The law was clear. The mandate from Congress was clear. The American people were promised transparency and accountability — not partial disclosures and endless delays. Justice cannot be negotiated behind closed doors, and the reputations of powerful individuals cannot be allowed to outweigh the public’s right to know the full truth about one of the most disturbing criminal enterprises in modern history. Congress must act now. I urge you to immediately: 1. Enforce the Epstein Files Transparency Act. Require the DOJ to release all remaining unclassified files, records, recordings, investigative notes, communications, and evidence related to Epstein and his network without further delay, except for narrowly tailored redactions necessary to protect victims. 2. Demand a full public accounting of what documents remain withheld, why they are being withheld, and a firm deadline for their release. 3. Require full transparency on redactions, including the legal authority and review process used by the DOJ, FBI, and department attorneys to ensure information is not being suppressed. 4. Hold immediate oversight hearings to investigate whether any officials improperly withheld, delayed, altered, or destroyed records related to the Epstein investigation. 5. Pursue accountability if obstruction or intentional suppression of evidence is discovered, including referrals for criminal investigation where appropriate. Survivors deserve the truth. The public deserves the truth. The rule of law demands the truth. The Epstein Files Transparency Act was passed to prevent a cover-up and ensure accountability for everyone involved in this criminal network — no matter how wealthy, famous, or politically connected they may be. Do not allow that law to be ignored. Release the files. Enforce the law. Deliver justice now.
