I am writing as a voting constituent to demand the immediate and full restoration of SNAP benefits. They are a critical resource that ensures our most vulnerable citizens can afford to eat. A lapse, or what seems to now be a reduction, in these benefits creates an instant and severe food crisis for millions of Americans. Restore SNAP benefits immediately. Our community and our nation depend on it.
