This Republican administration must immediately withdraw from its illegal war in Iran. Today we lost two more soldiers to this needless, illegal war. The administration is threatening to attack Kharg Island. We will lose thousands more American soldiers’ lives if we engage in such an invasion. This loss of American lives for no good reason must stop. As someone whose father, brother, and two uncles are in national cemeteries, each such loss hits close to my heart. You as a Republican lawmaker, are complicit in this. You have the power to stop this war, to defund this war, but you have not done so. Why not? Congress must act immediately to put constraints on this unauthorized war of aggression. My wife and I urge you to do whatever is necessary to end this ill-conceived war.
