I cannot say I am entirely surprised, yet I am still disheartened that you voted to give more funding to ICE. The majority of Americans have made it very clear that we do not support ICE's actions under the Trump administration. As an elected official, it is your responsibility to work for the people. This includes looking out for the well-being of ALL of the people. Supporting ICE is the complete opposite of that. I wish that you would consider all of the innocent people that have been harmed by ICE. There must be a better way to deal with immigration issues - and giving even MORE money to unconstitutional ICE agents is NOT it. I am not naive enough to think my letters will actually persuade you to change your mind, but I hope that they at least give you pause to consider your empathy towards the rest of humanity.
