Now ICT and Native Organizers Alliance report tribes had to kill repopulated bison and otherwise struggle to make up for loss of SNAP benefits. While this ultimately lies at the feet of the Trump administration and Republicans, Schumer and the Senate Democrats who ended the shutdown for no real concessions need to answer for putting to waste all this hardship and then lying about their motivations. About a dozen House Democrats have already called for Schumer to step down - some are opportunists, who Democrats continually push voters to with tactics like this budget dealing, but there are also real progressives including Reps. Ramirez and Jayapal. Join them if you really serve the people over the airlines and other big businesses.
