Dear Senator/Representative, I am writing as a concerned constituent to express my growing alarm over the Trump administration’s approach to America’s alliances and global leadership. Recent reporting argues that while the United States has strained relationships with longtime allies, China has been actively strengthening ties with nations across Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, and the expanding BRICS bloc. Whether one agrees with every aspect of that analysis, it is difficult to ignore that America’s influence depends on strong alliances, reliable diplomacy, and consistent leadership—not isolation or unnecessary confrontation. I believe it is reckless to weaken our partnerships while our strategic competitors are working to expand theirs. This approach does not make America stronger; it risks making us less trusted, less influential, and less secure. I urge you to stand up for a foreign policy that reinforces our alliances, protects our national interests, and restores America’s credibility on the world stage. Congress has an important role in providing oversight and ensuring that our long-term security is not sacrificed for short-term political objectives. Thank you for your service and for considering my views
