Here we are again. New reports of Trump’s handling of classified documents for petsonal gain have surfaced, and all indications are that he’s committed high crimes by selling our national security to enrich himself. This is clearly impeachable.
At the very least, I urge you to support a full congressional investigation into Donald Trump's removal and retention of classified documents. This is a matter of national security that demands accountability regardless of political affiliation.
Jack Smith’s investigation revealed alleged indictable crimes, but the Trump circle and the DOJ has shielded him under Pam Bondi, Todd Blanche, and others.
No one is above the law when it comes to protecting classified information. If Trump took documents he wasn't authorized to possess, stored them improperly, or obstructed efforts to retrieve them, Congress must investigate the full scope of what was taken, who may have accessed those materials, and what damage was done to our intelligence capabilities.
Federal employees and service members face severe consequences for mishandling far less sensitive material, and we’ve seen this repeated over and over.
The American people deserve answers about what classified information left secure facilities, where it went, and whether our national security was compromised and for what purpose.
Use oversight authority to get those answers, since we don’t have a Justice Department only crooked cops.
Thank you.
