I have the distinct impression that the American voters are beginning to tire of the insane, and intense political gaslighting that has become a hallmark of the current moment. I’m writing to express my desire that idiotic nonsense like the SAVE Act never see the light of day gain. Our current laws and policies prevent non US Citizens from voting. There’s no reason to add wasteful duplicative (and hate driven) legislation to the continuation of business for the US Government. Please stop the nonsense and get back to the business of doing the right thing for the American people — we care about jobs, we care about the environment, we care about raising up people who can’t raise themselves up. We care about defending our world position and the security of our interests in the US and overseas. Any distractions from those missions detracts from our ability to build a nation that can succeed in the 21st century.
