An urgent call to action on digital privacy: The warrantless governmental surveillance of Americans at abortion clinics through exploiting our private data is an egregious violation that cannot stand. Draconian measures to revoke fundamental freedoms and bodily autonomy by weaponizing personal information highlights the dire need for ironclad federal data privacy laws now. We cannot allow our most intimate details to be leveraged against us by those in power while comprehensive protections remain absent. The eradication of digital privacy poses an existential threat to liberty itself. Congress must act immediately to safeguard our constitutional rights in the 21st century.
