I’m writing because I’m very concerned about the proposals that are currently on the table in Congress to make cuts to Medicaid. Hundreds of thousands of people in our district depend on Medicaid for their health insurance. These are seniors, children, working people, and people with disabilities. Cutting Medicaid funding will put their health care at risk and threaten essential services like mental health care, home care, and maternal health support. Cuts to Medicaid should not be on the table. Thank you for your time.
