Dear Governor Walz, Senator Klobuchar, and Representative Stauber, I am writing to you as a concerned citizen who loves this country and wants to see it flourish under the rule of law, democratic principles, and common decency. I believe we are at a critical moment in our nation’s history, and I urge you to do everything within your power to protect our institutions from further harm, particularly from the influence of former President Donald Trump. Donald Trump has repeatedly undermined the foundations of our democracy—spreading lies about our elections, encouraging political violence, and promoting division over unity. His words and actions continue to threaten the stability and moral compass of our country. We cannot afford to see the gains of democracy, justice, and truth undone by someone who consistently disregards them. This is not about partisanship. It is about patriotism. We need leaders who will stand up—not just for a political party—but for the Constitution and the American people. I ask you to speak out, support legal efforts to hold him accountable, and reject any attempts to allow him to regain the presidency or further dismantle democratic norms. Our country deserves better. We need courage from our elected officials, and I hope you will rise to this challenge with clarity and conviction.
