Members of Congress,
You’re being set up — and some of you are walking right into the trap.
On September 18, 2025, the U.S. Senate passed unanimously a resolution declaring October 14 a National Day of Remembrance for Charlie Kirk. The resolution honors Kirk’s contributions to “individual liberty, open debate, civic engagement, and constitutional principles.”
It is confirmed that House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries has indicated Democratic leadership will vote in favor of the event-resolution in the House. Many Democrats are opposed, uncomfortable, or still deciding—including Rep. Jasmine Crockett (TX).
⸻
Here’s why this matters:
• A resolution praising Charlie Kirk—despite his public record of divisive and often hateful rhetoric—signals selective approval of those powers that amplify bigotry.
• Voting for this “remembrance” is being used as a political cudgel by Republicans, to force votes or attack Democrats who refuse.
• There is real concern among Democrats that opposing the resolution could lead to backlash or violence.
⸻
What you must do:
1. Withdraw your support for this tribute resolution.
2. Publicly condemn the politicization of Kirk’s death as a tool to co-opt free speech or moral high ground.
3. Make clear you will protect free speech—even when it displeases powerful voices on your right.
4. Demand a full unredacted release of the Epstein files—now. Transparency matters more than political optics.
⸻
This isn’t about partisanship; it’s about principle. If you believe in democracy and equality, this vote will define you. Stand on the right side of history.
