I am writing to you as a concerned constituent and one of the growing majority of Americans—54%, according to a recent Rasmussen Reports/Heartland Institute poll—who believe Congress must take decisive action in response to Elon Musk’s actions related to the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). This is not a partisan issue. It is a matter of accountability, ethics, and justice. When a private citizen, no matter how wealthy or influential, undermines public trust or manipulates government systems for personal or political gain, consequences must follow. Seventy-one percent of Democrats and 80% of self-identified liberal voters now support legislation that would lead to Musk’s imprisonment for his role in DOGE. The message is clear: the public demands action. I urge you to support and introduce legislation that investigates and, if warranted, prosecutes Elon Musk for his involvement in DOGE. We cannot allow billionaires to operate outside the law while everyday citizens are held to account. Our democracy relies on equal justice under the law. Please be on the right side of history. Represent your constituents and help ensure accountability at the highest levels.
