Today Kristi Noem announced, "We are not going away. We are staying here to liberate the city from the socialists and the burdensome leadership that this governor and that this mayor have placed on this country and what they have tried to insert into the city." Noem says the Trump regime and US military is in LA to “liberate” the city from its democratically elected officials because the Trump admin disagrees with their politics. Then Senator Padilla was forcibly and violently removed from her press conference for trying to ask a question. Now DHS is blatantly lying about the video of his removal that we can all see. To Senator Padilla: thank you for your work and courage today. More of this please. To Senator Padilla’s Democratic colleagues in Congress: halt all Senate activities immediately and introduce articles of impeachment of Noem and Trump in the House. No other legislative work should be permitted while the Trump administration continues to attack our democracy, constitution, and country.
