Greetings and I do hope my message finds you well. I am writing to formally recommend that you consider commuting the sentences of virtually all of those currently sitting on the federal death row. The death-penalty is a poor and expensive tool and does not reduce crime, is punitive and violates the rights of these individuals for its’ cruelty. They can continue to serve the rest of their time in jail but death should be off the table for them all. Thank you for your consideration and do have a Merry Christmas.
