New Senate / New Leader

To: Sen. Merkley, Sen. Wyden

From: A constituent in Oregon City, OR

November 4

I’m so fortunate in my senatorial representation! Thank you, sir. I’m a vintage American like you, so it is with a heavy heart that I urge Democrats to elect a new Senate Majority Leader reflective of the party base. We need to deliver significant consequences to feckless and corrupt members of the current administration. Despite his many years of service, Sen. Schumer has demonstrated that he cannot fill that role. We desperately need tough, effective leadership, and he is not that guy.
