Congress's continued failure to stop an out-of-control President is dragging the United States and the entire world toward catastrophe and Congress is doing nothing.
President Trump has illegally invaded Venezuela in direct violation of the War Powers Resolution, Article 2 of the United Nations Charter, and the most basic principles of international law. Venezuela posed zero threat to the United States. This was not self-defense and President Trump has clearly stated he did it to claim Venezuelan oil. Committing the US to war with another country is not within a presidents power.
Trump is now openly threatening multiple sovereign nations including Cuba, Mexico, Colombia, Iran, and even NATO-allied Greenland with military action if they do not submit to U.S. demands. This is reckless saber-rattling and strategic insanity. Threatening allies and neighboring nations alike is how regional conflicts spiral into global wars.
This is not "tough diplomacy." This is rogue-state behavior. I am demanding that Congress immediately assert its authority under the War Powers Resolution!
Impeach, convict, and remove President Trump from office for repeated, flagrant violations of U.S. and international law.
Investigations are no longer enough. Delay is not caution. Delay is complicity. History is brutally clear about what happens when legislatures refuse to restrain authoritarian leaders. Imperial ambition, militarized coercion, contempt for law, and consolidation of unchecked power are not abstract warnings — they are the mechanics of fascism.
Congress was designed to stop this.
