I am entirely dumbstruck with the executive branch overreach and congress's seeming impotence at resisting clearly unconstitutional action. Even though the executive is attacking the constitution on multiple fronts, I do believe the highest priority is the denial of due process to all people picked up in the US and now locked up in CECOT in El Salvador. Abrego Garcia deserves his day in court, along with every other prisoner. Without due process our republic will fail. I urge you to act with all urgency in exercising your checks against this assault on our fundamental constitutional rights. Thank you.
