When leaders disregard legal obligations, mislead the public, or undermine trust in our institutions, it threatens the integrity of our democracy. The health of our republic depends on leaders who respect truth, transparency, and constitutional limits. Congress has a solemn responsibility to provide oversight and to act when those standards are not met. I urge you to carefully evaluate any evidence of misconduct, deception, or disregard for legal norms and to use the tools granted to you by the Constitution to safeguard our system of government. History will remember whether our leaders defended democratic principles in moments of challenge. Please put country, Constitution, and conscience first. Donald Trump needs to be removed from office before he can do even more damage.
