I support you staying in this race. I’m worried about the other elected democrats calling for you to step aside. I’ve not heard any facts that support their case. I’m wondering if you should address this head on as soon as you are over COVID. Talk about how people in this country have free speech. You respect that. Say you’ve heard their voices. You’ve listened to elected democrats and your constituents. You’ve considered all the opinions and facts and have carefully weighed all the evidence. Then list some groups and what they stand to lose: people who depend on health care, women, minorities (Nazis are in the streets in Tennessee), LGBTQ+. You understand the stakes couldn’t be higher. You are staying in the race. We have less than 100 days when you consider early voting. At some point soon, all pro democracy people must come together, put our oars in the water and start rowing in the same direction.
