I am a constituent, and I am writing to you regarding your obligation as an elected official.
The public record is clear and settled. January 6, 2021 was a violent attack on the United States Capitol. It has been investigated, documented, and ruled on by bipartisan congressional investigators, federal courts, and the Department of Justice. Those findings establish that the attack was set in motion and fueled by Donald Trump’s actions and deliberate falsehoods about the 2020 election.
As an elected official, you are bound by your oath of office to uphold the Constitution, defend the truth and the rule of law, and protect this country. That oath requires you to affirm factual reality when it is under attack—not retreat from it for political convenience.
I am requesting a clear, public statement on the record within 14 days affirming these facts. If you decline or fail to respond, I will treat that silence as your position and will document it accordingly for constituents and the public record.
History will record where each elected official stood. Failing to state the truth now is a dereliction of duty
