I am writing to ask you to please approve the District of Columbia budget as presented by its City Council. I used to live in DC and am fully aware of the important services that are covered by the city budget (police, fire, sanitation, infrastructure. Etc). This is not federal funding and therefore congress should respect the decisions put forth by the DC city council. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
