I am delighted by Mayor Mamdani's rescinding of nyc executive orders that equate anti-zionism with anti-semitism. As a grandson of Holocaust survivors, i resent how allies of the criminal Israeli government stifle just criticism of its crimes by calling these criticisms antisemitic. The position is just as absurd as stating that criticism of Putin's government is anti-Russian hatred, or criticism of North Korea's government is anti-Korean hatred. Israel's actions in Gaza and the West Bank are flagrantly immoral and illegal. I would like other leaders in our state, such as you, to have the courage to say so.
