When I pay my taxes, I am investing in society. Society functions well when we have excellent schools, a healthy population and quality services. The idea that my taxes should be paid to make wealthy people and corporations wealthier is truly disgusting to me. The thought that this huge wealth transfer means that fewer people will have quality education, a cleaner environment, better healthcare and a well run government is beyond comprehension. While the President and his cronies rob our county blind, the Congress is now considering taking healthcare, public education and strong environmental regulation away from the taxpayer- people like myself and others in the middle and working class. End Trump’s tax cuts for the wealthy, give the money he has stolen back to the people. End the corruption. Tax the rich. Stop the corruption. Save our country! Do your job!
