Civilian casualties are rising, thousands of lives have already been lost, and the violence risks expanding into a broader regional war with devastating humanitarian and geopolitical consequences. Many Americans are deeply concerned about the lack of a defined strategy, the risk to U.S. service members, and the possibility of a prolonged and destabilizing conflict in the Middle East. (The Guardian) I urge you to: • Support legislation that requires congressional authorization for continued military action. • Push for an immediate ceasefire and diplomatic negotiations involving international partners. • Prioritize humanitarian protections and aid for civilians affected by the conflict. • Work toward a long-term diplomatic solution that reduces the risk of further war. The United States should lead through diplomacy, restraint, and international cooperation. Escalating military action risks worsening instability, endangering American lives, and undermining global security.
