This $1.776 billion settlement with the IRS by the DOJ is the most brazen self-dealing and corruption I have seen yet from this President. He should be impeached for this. And the DOJ playing as Trump’s personal lawyers is a gross abuse of their position. I am most concerned about two specific provisions of this settlement: 1) the IRS is “forever barred and precluded” from pursuing “examinations” of Trump, as well as related businesses and affiliates. 2) Item D of the brief by the attorney general: "D. Once the funds are deposited into the Designated Account, the United States has no liability whatsoever for the protection or safeguarding of those funds, regardless of bank failure, fraudulent transfers, or any other fraud or misuse of the funds." So he can do whatever he wants with these funds? I can’t think of a worse example of corruption. This is DISGUSTING. Do something!
