I’m writing at the urging of Pope Leo XIV, who has asked all people of goodwill to reject this war and to call on their political leaders to do the same. I’m asking you to end your war in Iran. The Holy Father has called it unjust. He has begged the world to lay down its weapons and come back to the table. As a person of faith and as a constituent, I am standing with Pope Leo. I am asking you to do the same. Our military is not for conquest. Thank you. Peace and all good things to you.
