Published reports indicate the president-elect plans a mass roundup of alleged undocumented and criminal aliens. I am writing to strongly urge that criminal aliens be prioritized. Furthermore, I see absolutely no role for the United States Army or National Guard in domestic policies or law enforcement actions. Even should the insurrection act or a national emergency be declared, there is nothing less democratic or unlawful than using troops inside the borders of our great nation. No use of the army or national guard in any way shape or form for these purposes, and no funding to enable this terrible plan. Please vote ‘no’ should this come to a vote either in committee or on the floor. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to your response.
