April 16

Please stop this am president from hisbmission to remove all citizen rights and protections! The president of *THE UNITED STATES* told Americans to give up their rights. What. On. Earth. He said, “I am willing to risk the giving up of my Rights and Privileges as a Citizen.” He may be, but I AM NOT. He made this statement while encouraging Republicans in Congress to pass a warrantless surveillance law. Those words should be enough to make that notion impossible to fathom. Warrantless?! We. Need. Warrants. Section 702 of FISA currently allows government to spy on Americans’ communications without a warrant. This is an unconscionable thing, which expires April 20. That overreach of governmental power must be stopped, not extended. We need to stop normalizing a surveillance state. We are not Russia. The government must not be allowed to constantly watch us without a warrant, without a reason a judge has agreed is justified. This administration that has weaponized the DOJ, sicced ICE on courthouses, and illegally and viciously punished its political opponents, and now it wants unlimited warrantless access to our communications. Please stop them.
