Don’t Be a Performative Leader

To: Rep. Loudermilk

From: A constituent in Woodstock, GA

October 30

“Everything they do is done for people to see.” — Matthew 23:5 Day 30 of the House Rep Shutdown and looking to hurt the people that put them in their position and bank roll this country and your current vacation since you are not even meeting with your district. Photo ops and newsletters won’t feed families or restore paychecks. Real leadership shows up when it matters. Stop performing. Start legislating. Here is what you need to do: ✅ Return to Washington. Stop the vacations, the social media stunts, the campaign trail speeches. Show up and do your job. ✅ Pass a clean continuing resolution that funds ALL federal agencies and workers. No gimmicks. No exclusions. Do not separate “deserving” workers like the military from “disposable” civilian workers. They all serve this country. ✅ Restore funding for CDC, HHS, and public health prevention efforts. You are knowingly allowing our health protection systems to be dismantled during a time when disease, misinformation, and burnout are rising. ✅ Stop wasting tax dollars with repeated, failed votes. The American people are not props in your political theater. They are losing healthcare, childcare, housing, and pay. ✅ Stop voting to block the release of the Epstein files. The people have a right to know the full truth — especially about systems of abuse. You cannot claim morality while voting to protect abusers. ✅ Hold a real town hall in Woodstock or Cherokee County. You’ve hidden behind filtered newsletters and social media posts. Have the courage to face your constituents and hear their pain. In person.
