I’m appalled, sickened and angry to learn about the recent midnight raid into a Chicago apartment building by ICE agents! Is this the United States or Nazi Germany? No warrant. Arrest, handcuff or zip-tie the hands of everyone, including children, detain them for hours—including American citizens! The Trump administration’s Gestapo methods are in-American and unconstitutional . I am embarrassed and ashamed of what our country is becoming, and I’m frightened for anyone who is not wealthy and/or a white male. When will the Republican members of the House and Senate grow a spine and say “NO” to this wanna-be dictator? Congress MUST stand up and take back its power! I am an independent who has voted mostly Republican for 50 years, but never again. And I did not vote for Trump.
