Need to Amend The Constitution of The USA

To: Sen. Schiff, Sen. Padilla, Rep. Kim

From: A verified voter in Laguna Woods, CA

March 2

Need to Amend the Constitution of the USA The President declared war against Iran, and it is against the Constitution. Only Congress has that power. The current President has usurped Congress’s power and has ordered unconstitutional things a number of times. Congress seems unable to do anything to stop this President from usurping his power. Not even a Resolution of Power Act will work because the President has the power to veto it. A Congressional Constitutional Convention is needed to amend the Constitution to give Congress or the Supreme Court the duty of removing anyone from office who does not uphold the Constitution. It just does not make sense to keep a nation of people helpless with a rogue President of the United States. The People and the Country must be protected from this. We should not have to standby with nothing to do but protest and write letters or make phone calls. Actions against the Articles of the Constitution just should not be tolerated nor allowed to happen. The Constitution must be amended to prevent unconstitutional acts by those who have sworn to defend, protect, and uphold the Constitution. Those committing unconstitutional acts must be impeached or removed from office. I am tired of, and infuriated by, having to watch the Congress and Supreme Court sit by and do nothing about a rogue President and rogue Administration. The Constitution must be amended so that there is truly a check against unconstitutionality.
