Vice President, your defense of the openly racist behavior in the Young Republicans isn’t leadership — it’s cowardice. When those in power excuse hatred instead of condemning it, they tell every bigot that racism is acceptable in America again. There is no “context” for racism. There is no “both sides” to white supremacy. Your words betray the office you hold and the people you swore to serve. If you can’t stand up to hate within your own ranks, you have no business representing this country. Resign.
