Dear Congressman McClintock,
I am writing as a deeply concerned constituent regarding the current deployment of federal forces—including ICE agents and National Guard troops—in American cities. It appears these forces are being used not to protect Americans, but to control, intimidate, and act against them.
This is not a foreign invasion. These are not disaster zones. These are American communities, and yet military-style tactics and federal agents are being deployed in ways that blur the lines between law enforcement and military force. This is not what America stands for.
The use of ICE and National Guard troops in this manner seems to directly contradict the principles of limited government and individual liberty—values I expect you, as my representative, to uphold. The Posse Comitatus Act exists to protect us from exactly this kind of domestic militarization, and yet it appears to be ignored.
Frankly, I’m disappointed by the silence and inaction from many in Congress, including your office. I urge you to speak out against the misuse of federal forces and take concrete legislative steps to prevent any administration—present or future—from turning government power inward against the American people.
This is not a partisan issue. This is about protecting the rights and safety of the citizens you were elected to represent. I hope you will take this seriously. Congress
