Having an adult son with severe disabilities I am a very worried Texan. I am worried that his lifesaving help he gets from Medicaid and federal programs will be taken away and that it could be taken away abruptly. My son has been through so much. Surviving ARDS and later Sepsis. He fights to live because he loves life. He deserves to be alive, be a part of society. If he loses his healthcare he will not survive. It will be a death sentence. What can you do to keep him and others like him safe? His life is in your hands and that is the scariest thing. I've always been able to fight for him and I'm scared this will be a fight I can't win. Please care about my son. Please do what's right and protect the vulnerable. Please have empathy.
