This topic is near and dear to my heart, as a former stage manager with over 15 years of experience in the regional theaters of our state. Please oppose any budget plan that calls for cuts to the National Endowment for the Arts. The NEA is responsible for essential arts and culture programs in every community in the country, especially cities like Milwaukee. Their vital work should be defended and restored, not eliminated. Please respond, even if by form letter, to let me know this was received by your office. Thanks so much for your time and consideration!
