I am writing to urge you to initiate impeachment proceedings under Article 2, Section 4 of the Constitution against President Trump and members of his administration for high crimes and misdemeanors that constitute a fundamental threat to our constitutional republic.
The evidence of fascist governance is overwhelming and documented. Trump has transformed ICE into a paramilitary force operating without warrants, with a budget now exceeding all other federal law enforcement agencies combined and surpassing the military budgets of all but 15 countries. Reuters has documented over 470 targets for retribution, averaging more than one per day. Federal law enforcement has been weaponized to persecute political enemies and shield allies through direct presidential orders.
Trump has used dehumanizing language lifted directly from Nazi rhetoric, calling opponents "vermin" and claiming immigrants are "poisoning the blood of our country." He pardoned all 1,500 attackers from the January 6 insurrection after telling militias to "stand back and stand by." He has threatened to cancel the 2026 election and recently told The New York Times that his own mind and morality are the only limits on his power.
The administration has deployed military force predatorily, threatening to take Greenland "the easy way or the hard way" and using force to seize Venezuela's oil. Trump has attempted to commandeer private entities including law firms, universities, and corporations, and brazenly claimed ownership of TikTok. He has attacked press freedom, searched reporters' homes, and filed exorbitant lawsuits against media outlets.
Stephen Miller explicitly declared that the world is "governed by strength, force, and power" while Russell Vought promised to put agencies "in trauma." This is not normal political disagreement. This is systematic dismantling of constitutional governance.
The Constitution provides a remedy for exactly this situation. I urge you to act immediately to impeach, convict, and remove this administration before irreparable damage is done to our democratic institutions.
