I am writing to express my strong opposition to the confirmation of Jennifer Mascott to the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. I believe her record raises serious concerns about her ability to fairly and impartially administer justice. My concerns stem from Ms. Mascott’s past legal work. She has previously represented organizations with restrictive stances on reproductive rights, and her work has, in my view, potentially eroded protections for individuals who have experienced sexual harassment and assault. I believe these associations and actions demonstrate a potential bias that would be detrimental to the integrity of the Third Circuit Court. The Third Circuit Court handles critically important cases affecting the lives of millions of Americans. It's vital that those who serve on the court are committed to upholding the law and protecting the rights of all citizens.
