Over 50 years ago, the Clean Water Act has ensured safe drinking water for our families and protection of waterways. These clean water protections are under direct attack. H.R. 3898, the Permit Act will • Allow corporate polluters to dump toxic "forever chemicals" like PFAs into our rivers and lakes. • Strip states and Tribal Nations of the power to protect their water resources. • Fast-track projects that worsen flooding, destroy our wetlands, and make our communities more vulnerable. • Exclude millions of acres of our streams and wetlands from federal protections. Vote NO on the Permit Act.
