Vote no on Todd Blanche's confirmation as Attorney General. As Trump's "former" personal defense attorney, Blanche has already shown exactly who he serves — and it isn't the American people. His tenure as acting AG has been a preview of the damage a confirmed Blanche would do. He fired the career prosecutors enforcing the FACE Act, the law that protects patients and providers at abortion clinics from violence and harassment. Then his department launched a $1.8 billion fund to pay out people convicted of violating that same law. That's not law enforcement — that's retaliation against reproductive healthcare. A confirmed Blanche could go further, weaponizing the 150-year-old Comstock Act to engineer a backdoor national abortion ban and restricting access to mifepristone. The Senate must reject this nomination.
