I have lived in Ohio for 50 years; I was born here. I have been raised with Buckeyes, Bengals and the Browns…picking apples for pie and apple butter every autumn. Fish fries, tail gating, the State Fair, Zoo Lights. There is so much to love in this state. I’ve lived in Youngstown, Marion, Columbus and Cincinnati and every single spot is a little bit different.
I am ASHAMED and DISGUSTED by the violent, underhanded, mafia tactics being run in this election. Thugs from your campaigns - people you know and probably encouraged - were sent to threaten a fellow candidate’s life because you felt like you were losing ground. Innocent Ohioans were hurt in the attempt to physically stop her from running, because you can’t just listen to us and adjust your policies to support your constituents and their concerns.
Life is worth more than power, gentlemen. This is sociopathic, shameful and embarrassing behavior that leaves a stain on our state’s reputation and a VERY BAD TASTE in the mouth of Americans who would like you to grow up and act like professionals…stop wasting our time and money acting like the president, whose behavior is beyond disgraceful.
He may get away with it; you do not have his power or standing. You will not.
