Today I take I am writing to urge you to author and/or support impeachment articles against FBI Director Kash Patel. Now that we are at war with a known terrorist state, Iran, this post is of utmost importance. Patel is clearly the most inept, corrupt, and unqualified FBI Director we’ve ever had. His recent firing if a special counter-terrorism task force seems especially dangerous, and he’s offered no explanation for it. Also, Director Patel's announcement of an arrest in the shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk represented a serious failure in judgment. The FBI Director holds one of the most sensitive positions in our government, with responsibility for protecting national security and upholding the rule of law. This role demands exceptional care in public statements, particularly regarding active crimes. Although Cabinet-level impeachments are extraordinarily rare, having occurred only twice in American history. This rarity alone underscores that impeachment should be reserved for serious failures of duty. However, the FBI Director's role is too critical to tolerate unqualified and likely corrupt people like Patel. I urge you to support his impeachment or at the very least, his prompt resignation for malfeasance, incompetence, and a complete lack of skills necessary to run a critical department like the FBI.
