Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is already running massively over budget, as much as $1 billion over its allocated funds for this fiscal year according to reports. This gross overspending and lack of fiscal accountability is alarming and unacceptable. I am urging you to take immediate action to defund and restructure this rogue agency whose operations have become a stain on American values of human rights and dignity. We must prioritize comprehensive immigration reform that upholds our nation's principles of justice and compassion. The unchecked overreach and abuses of ICE can no longer be tolerated.
