Has Congress been vacated by DOGE? I am hearing nothing from our congress and senate. I am in my own home and far from DC so I don't know what is happening there--I can only use my imagination. Are there armed men threatening Congress to vote as they are told? Are members of Congress afraid that their families will be abducted unless they do what they are told? I can only imagine the worst since no voices are heard here where I live. When I was young I tried to imagine living in another country. My thoughts always ended with, "I am lucky to live in America," We don't get to choose who our parents are or where we will be born. My thoughts and prayers now as an adult are that the America I grew up in remains alive and well. I know that God doesn't care about specific countries or states or continents. I agree that America has sinned, Big Time, but God will forgive us even now if we seek Him fervently and follow His light. I hope this Easter Season your thoughts have turned toward God. Your eternal soul is worth more than money, position, favor, power-- I am praying for you all that God will give you courage to do right and to shine as a light in the darkness.
