Secretary of the Interior Burgum has abdicated his responsibility and authority to a former oil executive and DOGE staffer Tyler Hassan. This can not stand and must be rectified immediately. At stake are over 500 million acres of land, over 400 national parks, and treaties with over 500 indigenous tribes. These resources belong to every one of us. The damage that can be done by mismanagement is likely to be irrevocable and can have disastrous repercussions on the environment and in turn public health and food supply. Please no more excuses to sit on your hands because dems don't have enough votes. Think outside the box. Get common sense legislation on the floor and make the gop publicly vote it down so their constituents can clearly see the disasters they support.
