Less than a year ago, Congress put together a bipartisan immigration bill that would have put this country on the right track with immigration. Trump told the GOP to kill the bill and so they did. I guess having Congress solve a problem would have given him less chaos to campaign on. The President continues to leverage this chaos, largely manufactured by him, the far right media and MAGA extremists, by now calling in the National Guard and Marines to California. Where was the National Guard on January 6? Most Americans know the answer to that question and how stopping the January 6 insurrection was not what the President wanted to do for his own selfish and unconstitutional political reasons. The President of the US is not a king, nor a dictator not an authoritarian ruler. Trump seems to have - yet again - forgotten what his role is within the bounds of the Constitution. America is watching this country slip away daily into fascism while the GOP members of Congress sit back and watch it happen. Do something to stop this manufactured crisis while you still have the power to do so. The military is being used against its own people!
