Congress needs to act on Supreme Court accountability right now. The ethical failures we've seen from sitting justices — undisclosed gifts, luxury travel from billionaire donors, and conflicts of interest that would disqualify any lower court judge — demand a real response. That means launching formal investigations and, where the evidence warrants, pursuing impeachment.
The Supreme Court is the only federal court operating without a binding code of ethics. That's not an oversight — it's a loophole that has been exploited. When justices rule on cases involving the same interests that fund their personal lives, the legitimacy of every decision they issue is compromised. I expect you to use every tool available — subpoenas, hearings, and impeachment proceedings — to hold these justices to the same standard the law demands of everyone else.
