Free Lelo! Protect the immigrant detainees and defend their rights

Free Lelo! Our communities deserve to live in peace. ICE violently detaining local activists does not facilitate that goal. Trump is not taking the worst of the worst in his immigrant crusade. He is taking hardworking people who are striving for a better life for themselves, and in Lelo’s case, everyone around them. Please do whatever you can to free Lelo from the detention center. I’m so sick of living in a country where people are snatched off the street without warrants, cause or any due process. And while this letter is about Lelo, I would be remiss if I didn’t beg you to visit the detention center In Florida (Krome) to bear witness to the horrific conditions they’ve created at this concentration camp. Or if I didn’t speak on behalf of the hundreds of Venezuelans that were sent to El Salvador with out due process. We have to defend the most vulnerable from these cruel attacks. Help them!
