Prioritize Affordability Crisis Over Non-Essential, Wasteful, & Illegal Projects

To: Rep. Messmer, Sen. Banks, Sen. Young

From: A verified voter in Mount Vernon, IN

November 24

I am deeply concerned about the ongoing affordability crisis affecting millions of Americans. As your constituent, I urge you to prioritize addressing this critical issue over non-essential projects such as golf course updates or decoration initiatives or going after the president’s “political enemies” for fake court cases - y’all are wasting taxpayer money and we are all tired of it. The current economic climate has left many families struggling to make ends meet. Rising costs of housing, healthcare, and basic necessities have outpaced wage growth, creating significant financial strain for a large portion of our population. This is not the time for frivolous spending on recreational facilities or cosmetic improvements or fake court cases that career lawyers are saying there’s no case - because there isn’t. What an utter waste of money, time, energy, and people resources. Instead, I implore you to focus your efforts and our tax dollars on meaningful solutions to combat the affordability crisis. By redirecting funds and attention away from non-essential projects, we can make a real difference in the lives of those who are struggling. I ask that you take immediate action to reassess spending priorities and ensure that our community's resources are being used to address the most pressing issues facing your constituents. Stand up for your constituents and speak out against Trump, Johnson, Bondi, Patel, Kennedy, Hegseth, Noem, and the rest of the administration who are making dangerous, illegal, unconstitutional, inhumane, wasteful, and fraudulent decisions and actions.
